workshop three
3 different miniature books
Sunday 5 June 2016 @ 1-5pm
In this afternoon workshop, you’ll learn how to create THREE different miniature books.
The three books include a tiny version of the classic Pamphlet-sewn notebook; a little fold-up Concertina book with pocketed pages, and a miniature handsewn leatherbound book with a cut-out window spine to accentuate the handcut coloured pages inside.
This workshop is ideal for beginners, as well as those who would like to expand their range of bookbinding techniques. You'll be able to examine finished examples of these assorted books, and be inspired by the variations and possibilities.
All materials are provided as part of the workshop. And all templates and instructions are included so you will be able to make more books at home.
