So last weekend Shelbyville busted out the goodies and had a bit of a table at the Valley Laneway Markets. It was a damn nice day - perfect Brisbane winter weather - a tad cool, but beautifully sunshiney. Winn Lane was chockablock with cute little stalls, including my faves Ruffbat and Kijaro, and a host of others. Flamingo Cafe was cranking the coffee and gourmet bites. The Little Jane St store was as cute as a button. And the acoustic music was drifting sweetly down the lane.

Hubby was helping man the Shelbyville stall...
...But the very cute Little Man (in his overalls and sneakers) was definitely the star attraction :)
I had fun taking Instagram photos of some of my Shelbyville products, including a few newbies to the table:
Miniature key pendants (on vintage milk-bottle-top backing cards)
Tiny toy car badges
Vintage button brooches
And a few old faves - Scrabble pieces/cubes, Bingo marker pendants, and 1" badges made from vintage cigar bands:
For Shelbyville, it's been a while since the last design market, so this little stall at the Valley Laneway Markets was not only a nice day out, but also a nice warm-up for the upcoming Autumn/Winter Finders Keepers market (happening the first weekend in July) that we'll be a part of. Very excitedly too! - it's been a long time between FK markets for Shelbyville!

That's the sweetest market poppet I've ever seen with his super soft baby hair... awww! Wish I weren't so far away, I would've loved to soak up the atmosphere and sneak in a snuggle : D. Great fun! Big Dan looks like he's loving it too. : ) xx
