The Exhibition - Round 1
Just a couple of pics from December's exhibition at Myrtle Street Studio of Penny Black Project round 1:
On the walls behind Myrtle Street Studio's beautiful letterpress machine, are Penny Black Project works by E J Zyla (centre) and Vanessa Berry & Simon Yates (on the right). The shelves (on the left) held the Penny Black zines and some of the prints for sale.

Opening night at Myrtle Street Studio
Thanks to Jo and E J Zyla for the pics (someone forgot to take photos of her own, even though she gallery-sat for a whole day. Duh!).

The Zine
Jo also did an absolute top effort of the zine she designed and compiled at the conclusion of round 1 - I was so impressed! Here's some animated pics borrowed from her website:
Jo talks in more depth about her latest foray into zinemaking here: http://joannacoltman.blogspot.com/2010/12/exhibition-zine-launch-part-3.html

Well, that's my wrap-up on all things Penny Black!
Well done Jojo and all who participated - what a terrific collaborative project. Can't wait to see what those new eager beavers come up with for Round 2...!
