Brown Owling has finally gone interstate, and happily a new Sydney chapter has just been established.
You may already know about them, particularly if you read the Brown Owls article in the last issue of Frankie magazine, but essentially it's a "craft + chat club" where girls regularly meet up and bring along their crafty projects to work on while they chatter. How lovely does that sound?
Originally started in Melbourne, the concept has caught on, and now interstate (and maybe even international) chapters are popping up so that crafting girls everywhere can soon join in the fun. If you're interested in knowing more or would like to become a member, head over to the Brown Owls blog for more details + important dates.
I do know that the first official Sydney meet-up is scheduled for Thursday March 5 from 7-10pm at Centre House, Lane Cove. Ooh, I am so looking forward to it! :)
